This swimsuit fits me exactly as it looks in the picture - cute, nice on those of us with tummies, and makes me look more like a modest pinup than suburban mom.I especially like that the fabric in the front isn't just an add-on at the bottom (like a lot of swim suits that cost 3 times more) - it's actually another layer of the fabric. It also doesn't cling so tightly to my thighs as to make them actually look larger (like the Marilyn suit from ModCloth!). The extra fabric just drops down nicely. Best of all, this is a really nice fit overall and doesn't ride up or move around when I am swimming laps - the entire reason I got a more modest suit than my other retro pinup suit (which has a far lower "décolletage area"). Since I have 34DDs, a lot of one pieces fit way too large throughout or are too short in the torso...this one is just right. I am usually a true size 10 and the 12 fits nicely in this suit.My one complain is that they kind of cheaped out with back of the suit - why would I want my front to be nicely covered in an extra layer and my butt to be covered with one nanometer of thin navy material? It's not see-thru or gross, thankfully, but I would have loved just that extra nanometer in the back. But for the price (most "pinup" style one-pieces stretch into three figures, which makes me gag), I'll take it.

This is a beautiful suit. You probably want to order a size larger than what you normally wear. I originally ordered a 10 and had to return it for a 12; and I am not a large woman.
